ESG
In our sectors, sustainability is an operating discipline before it is a report.
We extract minerals, move heavy plant and distribute fuel. Those activities have environmental and social consequences that cannot be offset away — they have to be managed at the site, in the specification and in the contract.
So our ESG position is narrow and concrete: reduce the carbon intensity of the fuel our customers burn, rehabilitate every hectare we disturb, hire and train locally where we operate, and govern all of it transparently. We would rather report four things accurately than fourteen loosely.

Environment
What we control directly.
Land rehabilitation
Mining sites carry a filed closure plan before extraction begins, with restoration running progressively rather than deferred.
Dust, water and noise
Site-level controls with monitoring, because these are the impacts host communities actually experience day to day.
Fleet efficiency
Maintained plant burns less fuel and lasts longer. Our maintenance obligation is an emissions measure as much as a commercial one.
Social
People and communities.
Local employment
Majority local hiring at host sites, with progression paths rather than seasonal engagement.
Skills development
Technical training delivered through the Honeytreat Trade Academy, feeding qualified operators and technicians into the group and the wider market.
Community agreements
Negotiated commitments with host communities on employment, infrastructure and development, reported against annually.
Safety
Documented HSE systems across leasing, mining and CNG, with incident review at committee level.
Reporting
What gets published.
An annual sustainability statement covering the four commitment tracks, HSE performance, community programme delivery and governance. Published alongside investor materials.
